Spotlight on…Our VP of Engineering

Jeff Cunningham, our Vice President of Engineering, has spent his career of 20 plus years in composites and plastics manufacturing. The last seventeen years have been in the Bath industry with Jason International.

Jeff earned a Master of Science degree in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Central Arkansas. He is an active member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Society of Plastics Engineers, and the American Society for Quality.

In 1988, Jeff started his career with composites and plastic manufacturing in Engineering and later took on the additional role as Quality Manager for Barretta Boats in Conway, Arkansas. His love for boats and his desire to work in Research and Development inspired him to continue his career in the boat industry, as a Design Engineer, for Skeeter Bass Boats in Kilgore, Texas. “Growing up in Pennsylvania and later in Arkansas I spent a lot of time around the water and on boats as entertainment. Given the opportunity to work for a world class boat manufacturer, in the field of Research and Development, is where I developed a passion for product development and the manufacturing process. I woke up every day excited about going to work.”

In 1991, Jeff and his wife Robin had a desire to move back to Arkansas and start a family. On a lead that a reputable bath manufacturer in North Little Rock, Arkansas, was looking for a Design Engineer, Jeff interviewed at Jason International and was hired. After working 2 years as a Design Engineer, Jeff was promoted to Engineering Manager, giving him the responsibility of managing the Research and Development, Tooling, and Quality Control departments. “Working for Jason has always been rewarding for me. Throughout my 17 years with the company, I have had the opportunity to pursue my passion for product development and gain extensive experience in Operations Management.”

In 2006, Jeff was promoted to Vice President of Engineering and invited to be a member of the Executive Council. “I am proud to have contributed to the success of Jason International. This is a company with a strong foundation of integrity and is respected in the market for its quality and innovation. Jason International has great potential and I expect the company to continue its success in the future. I look forward to the opportunities and challenges of tomorrow.”

Jeff and his wife, Robin, live in Cabot, Arkansas with their 2 children Lexi and Kruz. In his free time Jeff is still a boating enthusiast and loves spending time with his family, staying physically fit, and supporting his church.

Spotlight on…Our VP of Corporate Development

Jennifer Jacuzzi Peregrin has been an integral part of Jason International for many years. She grew up in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where her father, and our founder, was the president of Jacuzzi Brazil. After graduating from Escola Maria Imaculada, Jennifer returned to the United States to attend Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas.

Her career of working for the family business goes back to her years in Brazil, where she and her siblings would help out around the office. While in college, she worked during the summer at Jacuzzi Bros. in the accounting department. This experience, along with a gift for strategic planning, encouraged her to pursue a career in accounting. She later received her degree in Business and Economics with an emphasis in accounting from Hendrix.

In 1982, Jason International was founded and Jennifer left Jacuzzi to work for the new family business. By 1990 she was responsible for overseeing numerous departments and was promoted to Vice President of Finance. In 1995 she was again promoted to the position of Vice President of Operations and was responsible for supervising six different departments. As the company continued to grow, Jennifer moved her focus to the Marketing department until her promotion to Vice President of Corporate Development, which she currently holds. When asked about the future of Jason, she responded, “Our approach to growing our business has always been strategic and steady. I see our opportunities as exciting and endless, not only for my generation but the ‘Jason’ generations to come.”

Jennifer is passionate about living well and sharing that lifestyle with others. “Personally, I consider it an honor to be able to contribute to the health and wellness of the world by sharing the benefits of hydrotherapy,” Jennifer says. “At the end of the day I hope to have made a difference in the lives of those I work with as well as those of our customers who have so graciously invited Jason products into their home as a part of their health and wellness regime.”

It was in college that Jennifer met her husband, Daniel M. Peregrin. They have four children, Jacqueline, Daniel, Madison, and Anastasia. While she is proud of all of her professional accomplishments, Jennifer says being a wife and mom are the most rewarding positions she has ever held. She enjoys exercising, cooking, fishing, and exploring new ways to live a healthy and balanced life.

Paper Recycling:
-We have saved over 50 trees.

Paper Reduction:
-48 less reams of paper purchased than during the same time frame last year.
-Requested to be removed from more than 200 magazine/mailing lists.

Plastic Recycling:
-More than 72 cubic feet of plastic and aluminum collected.

We're very excited about these findings and look forward to continuing this initiative throughout the year.
